Most people in the states take for granted easy transportation. If you are living in the Northwest Arctic most of you transportation consists of either a 4-wheeler or boat in the summer, a snow machine in the winter, and a plane in and out of the villages from Kotzebue. The remotness of the area is extreme and can often cause complications to simple situations, but Jennifer and I have grown to love the area in which we are living.
Above is a picture of the airplanes that bring us in and out of kotzebue, Alaska and is the actual plane that Dad, Mom, and Penny flew out on after their time with us. We appreciate all of the time they sacraficed to spend with us here in helping us with our work here. We love and appreciate all that yall did while you were here and we love you very much.
