Welcome to Kiana, Alaska

Well, Jennifer and I made it to Kiana, Alaska. We are now residents of an Arctic village in the northwest part of the state. It is very interesting, we got here in the middle of a Vacation Bible School that is being led by some people from Anchorage. It has been a great two days and we have thoroughly enjoyed our time so far as God has opened doors for us to be active in the youth and childrens ministries at Kiana Baptist Church.
This morning Jennifer and I went to bed around 1:30am and the sun was still bright and shining and people were very active running down town with there fishing poles and tackle. Now it is 11:30am and things are still very slow with a few people moving around, but for the most part all are still sleeping. We are excited about what God is doing and look forward to following Gods direction for our lives.
Please pray for John and Kim Piepmier as they continue to work in Kinana. Also for Jennifer and I as we search for what God has for us thins summer.
