Our trip was for the most part very smooth and enjoyable. We started off in Amarillo, Texas and as we said goodbye to my parents. We finally made it through security and headed to Dallas to DFW International Airport. After Dallas, Texas we flew to Phoenix, Arizona where it was 112 degrees and even the airport was hot. From Phoenix we flew to Anchorage where we arrived at 1:00am. Jacob and Liz Burke, some of our friends from college, picked us up from the airport and we drove from Anchorage towards Seward and saw some of the most beautiful scenery I have ever seen in all of my life. After our time with Jacob and Liz we went back to the airport and slept on the airport floor for about and hour preparing for our flight into Kiana. From Anchorage we flew to Kotzebue where we were met by John Forrester and his wife Terry. They were extremely hospitable and helped us connect to our bush plane to Kiana. In between our airplane rides we toured Kotzebue, Alaska with Terry John's wife. From Kotzebue we flew into Noorvik as a short stop before heading on to Kiana after dropping off some people and picking up a few more for the trip. Then from Noorvik we landed in Kiana. At this time John Piepmier was there with his four wheeler and a small trailer to help carry our things to the house we would be staying in for the time we are here.
Continue to pray for Jennifer and I as we pursue Gods direction for reaching these people here in Kiana. Thank you guys for your prayer and support.

We wanted you two to know how proud we are of you and that we pray for you often. Be looking for ways for us to minister with you when we get there. God Bless
I forgot to tell you that we hooked your link up to the Associational Web Site. It was really easy and you should get several pings from it.
